I used these 2 models because they cost the same and tried to determine which was a better value for the money.

I've had great luck with Ryobi.
I do mostly residential carpentry work & everything I've used has been great.
Their Airstrike stuff is outstanding & has ran more reliably than my coworkers Milwaukee & Dewalt guns. Their lights are great, die grinder & cut off tool are both home runs. Have a couple dustbusters/vacuums that are solid among a bunch of other various tools that have usually pleasantly surprised me in their ability & durability.
I own Makita 18v as well, and have used much of the latest & greatest in residential & commercial construction...with all that said Ryobi, when equipped with properly sized batteries has served me very well.

Good video & cool channel, I just found ya looking up Greenworks chainsaws, as my brother just gifted me a 60v minibike, the thing is awesome!
Take care pal

Have you tried Harbor Freight Bauer's impact? for 60 dollars you can get the impact and a battery, and it's brushless.

I assume the Ryobi contains newer brushless motors, whereas the M18 is not FUEL and thus old brushed motor?

Is nice that you are comparing the same machine but different color, are made in same factory in China both.
