mans said "not even close!" when the ryobi took literally TWO SECONDS longer to finish lmao. i love my milwaukee tools but momma didnt raise no fool i cant justify the extra cost for 2 seconds faster.

That ryobi impact helped me build half of my house 😂 In my experience the only difference from the higher end brands is the battery

I’ve been using the old ryobi 3 speed impact gun from like 2015 doing construction. It’s never failed me before. Personally, I’ll stick with what I already have, ryobi

I'm a maintenance tech and I work with heavy machinery and I need an impact driver so i bought the Ryobi ( quick replacement) because it was affordable, thinking this will get me by until I buy myself a Milwaukee 2 years later I still have the Ryobi and it's going strong. Yes the Ryobi takes a few seconds longer than other name brands but I get paid by the hour lol.

Ryobi is pretty underrated in my opinion

Honestly I think the reason for all the jumping around of specs and oddities going on with Ryobi is because TTI is having a hard time keeping all their lines of tools in their respective categories.
Milwaukee is their premier, Ridgid is a step below, Ryobi is their DIY (whatever the hell that means) and now they have Hart that they’re pumping through Walmart. It’s probably pretty hard to keep advancing all these lines and not have some serious overlap.

You are definitely a milwaukee fan, just please make that apparent. Thanks for the review!

1/2 the price, 4/5th’s the performance. Better deal in my opinion

Hot damn, ryobi has a nice impact finally!

They're probably sacrificing speed for torque with less impacts per minute. More time to charge=bigger bang. I'd like to see if how max torque compares to the Milwaukee.

Awesome video Thanks for the comparison .. :) I end up getting the Ryobi 18v HP it’s the least expensive I can get At Home Depot it did work for me .. this thing drive about 10 pounds of number #10 (3 1/2 ) inch star screw approximately 750 pieces without a hitch we build a 28 x 16 floating deck around our shed!!

speed and power is not everything. you forgot to mention that the trigger is immensely improved, over all their previous impacts. this makes this impact actually great for dyi and occasionally hard use. they actually made this impact more user friendly especially the no speed model. great trigger. it will get hot tho. your test really missed that point. impact drivers can do sooo much more, than go full gas all the time.

The step down in RPM could be to reduce stripping or cam out.

Wth! So Ive just seen this video. Ive had a positive experience with the last entry level impact. And Ive nearly gone through the current range impact drills and drivers. I knew the drill was definitely slower and Im glad you have verified this. I lost heart with ryobi due to this reason. Because I do steel roofing and putting in screws is its main labour all day
