Sleep. It should be easy, but a good night of rest can be out of reach due to various mental and physical obstacles. A.J. Schwichtenberg, associate professor in the Purdue University Department of Human Development and Family Sciences, has researched sleep in adults and children for much of her career. Schwichtenberg recommends seven hours of sleep for adults. Obtaining that sleep takes work sometimes and she has several tips for a better night’s slumber.
