I'm a truck driver in NY and followed you here. I'm in my 50's and I'm shocked at what a fool I have been for watching CNN, MSNBS and other corporate news outlets that I thought were progressive, fare and honest. I have completely cut them off and I have been watching TYT, Democracy Now, Al Jazeera English and Zeteo. I would like to follow the Columbia Student Reporters but not sure where they are. This is essential for our society at this time. We need more balance and clarity. Everybody needs to crystallize the idea that our ingrained double standards are a severe weakness, especially when unexamined. There is no reason not to question the concepts underlying our value judgments unless we cannot disagree peacefully. We need to directly address the fear, hate, and rage that is appearing as media bias socially. We must release the tension between our media bubbles for a healthy society. Most people fundamentally agree about most issues.
