Despite less than ideal conditions, both A330's buttered it...the legend continues. The 747 at LAX....OUCH!! Would love to see the planespotter video of that one.

There is no tape on that wing. Those are patches that were repainted a slightly different color grey that are now peeling off and the dark bare composite showing throwing.
