Dont be confused with what seat to sit in from this experiment. The safest seats on the plane are those that face backwards, these are the seats that flight attendants sit in. For passengers, there is no real safe area of the plane to sit in. Every section is just as likely to be safe during a crash than another. In fact, there is less than a 2% varience within these numbers. I am a pilot and air traffic controller and I've studied several crash investigations.
