On this episode, I go into detail on how to set up YOUR kitchen for success, like a real chef would in a restaurant. Not only that, i explain WHY it is super important to do so, how it will make you a better cook and then finally, i give you a full tour of MY KITCHEN.

This way you can hopefully take away a few ideas and get a better understanding of my philosophy behind workflow, time management, efficiency and cleanliness.

This is how I do it, it doesn't mean it's right or wrong, and it certainly is the only way. WIth that being said theres definitely a ton of practical nuggets dropped into this one.

So much of this video made me feel good about myself and my own mise en place. Oddly I learned about FIFO before I ever applied it to my kitchen, hehe. And then...I felt ridiculous complaining about my kitchen (which I do a lot) when yours is clearly even smaller than mine. I think a great take away from this vid is to utilize your wall space! People often forget about that. It kills me that I have none...it's all cabinets and tile. But like you said, everyone's situation is different. So, I have a random question about basting brushes (since you mentioned them). Just the other day my silicone brush lost one of its "cones" during washing so I am in the market to replace it. Do you prefer boar bristle or silicone? Thanks, Mikie!
