You know what the fascinating thing was that Kuvira is Amon Unalauq and Zhaeer mix in together because she wants what they wanted.

She wants equality which is what Amon wanted.

She wants Balance which is what Unalauq wanted.


She wants Freedom which is what Zahaar wanted.

And like those guys she was unbalanced and took her Ideals to far.

In a way Kuvira was like Korra but just in another league.

While she is "the villain" of season 4, she's not actually a bad person, just really insecure and misguided.

Hey, you forgot to mention her very, very 1st Appearance at the Practice for The Dance Premiere in Episode 5 where they 1st meet Suyin BeiFong.
Because that SURE looks like Kuvira on the Right of those 2 Women that Strike a Pose with their ankles locked as that Metal Looking Flower Opens.

Honestly I think having her introduced saving Tonroq's life is one of the most brilliant ways of introducing her, it makes you really wanna like her and not realize she's a villain.

This was a helpful video, since characters in Book 4 were always referring to Kuvira as if she was someone they already knew, but I couldn't remember who she was.  The most recent episode gives us some more backstory, but it's nice to know what her previous appearances were.  And I like that the new antagonist is not trying to take over the world, just trying to restore balance to the Earth Kingdom.  A well-intentioned extremist makes for a much more interesting character than a pure villain type than the likes of Unaloq.
