I think I was a Stones fan before I even knew I was a Stones fan. I remember "Paint It Black" playing in my head when I was in elementary school. But it took a girl who wasn't a Rolling Stones fan to make me realize how great "Make Me Run" is. We were going to see the Stones on the Steel Wheels tour and to get psyched were listening to all my Rolling Stones albums. Right after " Make Me Run" played she said that's a really good song. I had to admit it was and had flown under my radar. Now like all the concerts I've been to, that girl is just a
memory.

A friend of mine was backstage at a Stones show in the '90s. He spotted Keith walking down a corridor with a guy rattling into Keith'e ear. Keith was nodding and saying: "yeah, uh huh, yeah, yeah, uh huh..." As Keith passed, my friend touched his arm and said: "I learned how to play guitar because of you." Keith's head shot up, he broke into a big smile and said: "Cool, man!"
