Good Americans show manners and etiquette in different countries. This young man makes me proud. I needed this after seeing a certain foolish "American" misbehaving badly in Japan.

Great to hear. I was just in Poland, saw a few Black people and wondered how they were doing.

Happy Tuesday, Marina ❤! Today is my birthday 🎂. It's always good to learn about other languages and backgrounds as it's educational for people to learn something that is outside of our comfort zone

As an American who is a descendent of a polish immigrant my great grandpa regretted her choice. Poor woman lived through the Second World War loved America all the way through till the recession.

Considering their often-tragic history, I can understand the Poles not smiling much...

I bet this young man is accepted in Poland as he seems willing to respect his environment & try to fit in. He seems nice, friendly, clean, & hard-working. Poland may not like all foreigners (esp. those that don't respect their country & its values, but they will like his type - even if they are a bit hesitant about HOW friendly he is in the beginning. Once they know he has no ulterior motives, they will really like him.)

Feels he just described a Russian person: we Russians don't smile much but it doesn't mean we are not friendly.
