Question: sometimes the grainy texture and errant casings of chickpea not-chicken/not-tuna salad recipes gets to me. Any ideas for making it smoother without making hummus? Braise/simmer the chickpeas in stock for awhile? Use a food processor instead of potato masher/fork to break it up? Yes to all?
