I've only discovered your channel and love it! I was born here and It's always been dessert to me not pudding.

I buy Nestlé Coffee Mate, which a powdered coffee creamer and is available from Woolworths/Countdown in a small container off the shelf. I buy it for friends who like white coffee as I don't use or buy milk. It is great because it keeps fine on the kitchen counter along with my coffee.

Some people LOVE feijoa, some Really don’t. My husband who eats all fruit, can’t stand them. But those who do like them, really like them.

New Zealand has turned from a primarily tea-drinking country to a mainly coffee-drinking country, although tea still remains popular. At home instant coffee (invented in New Zealand) is most popular, and a flat white when you're out and about.
NZ burgers can be much better than the American fast food franchise stores offerings, and I don't know why you don't like our pizza, I think it's great!
Amazon is not that bad I've found, used it quite often. Best is Rock Auto for car parts (we have American cars) which only take 7 days from ordering to arriving on the doorstep.

I'm genuinely curious. Why do you think burgers suck in NZ? Our dairy and beef is all from grass fed sources and minimally processed. The rest would all be locally grown salad vegies such as lettuce, onion and tomato. All the buns will have been recently baked from fresh ingredients. Is it the mayo or tomato sauce you don't like? It seems weird to not like locally grown, grass fed fresh ingredients. Perhaps the combinations/ratio's of meat to salad vegies is not to your liking? I cant believe Ive typed a paragraph questioning a strangers burger preferences, but Im really struggling to see whats not to like!!

heads up, that feijoa tree was an avocado, and the close up was a lime. not feijoas, should show the inside of the one you have, looks way different. and yes delicious ❤️

I'd say IMO there's a class difference in NZ in how people use "tea". Morning tea and afternoon tea are pretty average but you can usually tell what class someone is from if they use dinner over tea and it's usually more middle to upper class. It's one of those things I just kinda know as my immediate and extended family would always give each other weird looks if we even began to use the word tea to refer to dinner.

Fejoa's, you need minimum of 2 trees on your property. Then you get an explosion of fruit in season (I'm in Lower Hutt). I usually leave boxes full of fejoa's out front of the property for people to take (free) what we can't consume. Pizza, never liked it, probably because I've never had a real one. I'm kinda lazy, if the tea jar is closer to me than the coffee jar, then tea it is LoL, not too fussed.

My employer provides 6 weeks annual leave. Read it and weep ...SIX weeks. And the lady is correct, they force you to take the leave - no stacking it up in this country.

could always add more oil, salt and fat to your pizza to make it more American. sals just drips oil and it pools on top 🤮 I would rather bad pizzas, burgers and have less Americans 😂

Honestly it often takes close to two weeks for amazon stuff to arrive where I live, half an hour from their Seattle headquarters.

I just moved back from living in the States since 1996...I'm a chef by trade...I'm actually really impressed with the variety in the grocery store...there are "dollar stores" which has a awesome variety but but most to all of it comes from Asia..so...I love the kiwi suverners so in expensive but shipping them to my daughters in Colorado yeah thats crazy expensive

Lack of consumerism sounds so refreshing. I tire of long-winded conversations amongst young moms just talking about what they bought where.
