Check out the Most MYSTERIOUS Archaeological Artifacts Science Can't Explain! This top 10 list of strange and unexplained discoveries has some of the weirdest artifacts science still can't explain what it is!

8. The Alaska Artifact
A team from the University of Colorado went to Alaska in order to dig up a site that was an Eskimo settlement from 1,000 years ago. There, they found what could only be described as a broken piece of a bronze belt buckle (though to be clear, that's not actually what it was). What was curious though, was that the piece was at least a couple hundred years older than the house that the archaeologists found it in.

7. Las Bolas
Scattered throughout the Costa Rican jungle are massive stone spheres known to the locals as Las Bolas, which means The in Spanish. But these are more than just stone spheres, these are stone spheres that were carved and shaped by hand, more than that, the stones vary greatly in size. Some of them were only a few inches wide, while others are over 6 feet in length. And those ones could weigh 15 tons.

6. The Voynich Manuscript
The Voynich Manuscript is famous the world over for being a mysterious codex of sorts. It is reported to be a manuscript that was both handwritten in a strange language that seems to be made up, (which is fraught with problems in its own right), and is also hand-drawn, making it “impossible” to decipher.

5. The Stone Tongue
At a dig site in Northamptonshire, Great Britain, a body was found that was buried face down. This was in direct contrast to the other 34 bodies found by the team studying the site. When they further examined this body, they found that the person tongue was gone, and its place, was a "stone tongue".

4. Stonehenge
In Salisbury Plain in Southern England, you will find a rock formation that is perhaps one of the most famous and mysterious monuments on the planet. This is the place known simply as Stonehenge.
The structure itself is comprised of 30 upright stones made of Sarsens. Each stone weighs about 26 tons.

3. The Copper Scroll Treasure
The Sea Scrolls are one of the most important finds of the last century, but what is forgotten is that there was another treasure found alongside them, a scroll inscribed on copper. This was a common practice of the times meant to ensure that the text didn't fade. This particular copper scroll was discovered in 1952 in Qumran, and after dating it, it was found to be 2000 years old.

2. Earthquake Detection Device
In modern times, there are various instruments to help predict and measure the intensity of earthquakes, but these devices were hardly original, as one similar device was somehow made in 132 AD.

1. The Burial of Tutankhamun
The Tomb of King Tut is one of the most important finds in archaeological history, but upon studying his body, a curious condition was found on his bones. They were burnt.
To be clear, this was not part of the Egyptian burial process, far from it in fact. The Egyptians had a very specific method of burying their royalty, and yet, somehow, King Tut's body appeared to have been burned while he was inside his own sarcophagus.

Back when I was a little girl Egyptians use to hunt vampires and place something in their mouth to stop them coming back to life and biting people. But this is ridiculous bc we don't bite.

This video slows down the sound to stretch it out; I just undo it by speeding it up to 2x.

The ball's seem smooth. No tool Mark's. Like rocks that form perfect sheres by being in tidal pools or any rock surfaces with a stuck rock tumbling in running water or at the bottom of waterfalls where the pressure of the water and it's running, held boulders down which carved deep holes in bedrock and also shaped those spherical boulders from going round and round

Do you know something?
The Tutankhamun's body was burnt because he had done sin, actually its a long story written in the Holy Qur'an (Islamic Book)
He burnt because of religious acts not by scientific acts
I am a Muslim and we muslims have heared about his story
He had done a bad deed with our prophet Muhammad
