Even the most knowledgeable experts in the world sometimes find themselves faced with things they can’t explain, and those situations arise in the field of archaeology on a regular basis. Perhaps you might be able to explain some of the things that scientists cannot? Take a good, long look at all the strange artifacts in this video, and give us your opinion in the comments!

They first dated a patch done on the shroud in the 14oo's, when they were able to test the actual shroud it dates to the 1st century

Piri Riis said he copied the map from a more ancient map.
We have no way of knowing what or how much information was lost when the Library of Alexandria was burned.

The jar with the holes is a water clock. Plug the holes and fill with water, pull certain number of plugs from the top and count the graduations on the inside to see how much time has past. As the water goes down you pull more plugs so that you are always draining the water at the same rate.

It could probably be used as a measurement device for volume. Put in water to a certain point, note that, put in what you want to measure and count the graduations it makes the water rise.

The shroud of Turin was repaired in the 14th century. And this was the section carbon tested. They took a corner piece, not a core sample of the fabric. It was proven by the weave that the tested section was from the Middle Ages shares it was displayed often and developed wear on the edges.. needing repairs.

We do know what the Antikythera was for. It was made in two places in Greek times resulting in two of these artefacts, one in Mainland Greece and the other on the island of Crete. These two were originally made with sticks of Metal made into a shape like a clock; and inside were depictions of the planets which went around and appeared at different times, as they do when they appear at different times when we see them on earth. One of the Artefacts was very damaged but scientists tried hard to mend it, and no had even made new version of it. The people from Greece were very clever to have made this clock like mechanism which showed u when certain planets came and went in the sky! Cynthia Allen-McLaglen

The radiocarbon dating of the shroud of Turin is not valid, because they sampled only a corner of the fabric which had been repaired.

I tend to agree with everyone here, those do look just like sewing thimbles.

Why would you disregard current knowledge re the Shroud of Turin ? The carbon sample it is now accepted, came from a 14th century piece of material that had been added during repairs to strengthen and preserve the Shroud. Pollen/plant material found within the fibres was dated to 2000 years ago. It has been acknowledged by experts that the staining is from blood. The same experts say it is impossible to replicate the effect of the negative image on the shroud. Lastly why include the Shroud as one of your " artefacts that scientists still can't explain", then go on to say it has been proved to be a fraud, you do realise that doesn't make sense, or do you care ? Seems you are just another individual only interested in acquiring views, facts don't matter. Fact is, nothing in your item is new or mysterious. Just small pieces of known information stitched together, under your made up title. Producing an accurate item which would show artefacts that scientists can't explain, obviously takes a lot of effort and skill, obviously not things you are able or willing to display with the above item.

Seems scientist have a hard time admitting their dating processes are flawed.

Excuse me, but the small piece of fabric they used to date the shroud was from a section that was repaired by nuns after a fire burnt it. They have since taken a sample from another section and it dates it to the correct time of the death of Christ.

Aluminum wasn’t discovered in the 19th century. It goes as far back as ancient Egypt and was considered a precious metal. And if you want to get into the length of human history, none of this is new.
