I love how the most prominent book behind him is *A Man & His Watch*

Prince William's watch was gifted by his late mother, Princess Diana. There's more sentimental value there than anything else imo.

I read somewhere that the Tag in Wolf of Wall Street was used because DiCaprio was (and/or still is) an ambassador for the brand. Using a Rolex was contractually out of the question, so they used a model that would be easily mistaken. He didn't throw it into the crowd because it was unsatisfactory - he threw it into the crowd because one is to believe he was discarding an insanely expensive piece without a second's thought, whilst maintaining contract obligations.

Do y'all know there's more out there than Rolex?
John Mayer's most intresting watch is probably his vintage big pilot watch that y'all just ignored.

Hey GQ & James, wanted to let you know that some of the info on Cartier is incorrect. Angelina Jolie appears to be wearing a cheaper Must de Cartier Tank not the higher end Tank Louis Cartier. Additionally the Cartier Crash was inspired by a "crashed" Cartier Baignoire NOT a "crashed" Tank Louis Cartier.

They should change the title to "... Rolex vintage watches"

Actually the Leonardo Di Caprio part is quite interesting. Match really well with the role in The Wolf of Wall Street. All about blings without substances.

Overall, it’s one of those very cool and refreshing vintage watch vids I ever seen (despite previous comments with all due respect). Cheers

How could talk about John Mayer and not talk about his IWC collection.

It should be noted the Daniel Craig isn't wearing that vintage Omega out of pure love. He is a paid spokesperson for the brand, and is therefore forbidden to wear anything but Omegas whenever he is in public. Further, he is obligated to wear an Omega on press juncets, red carpet affairs, or whenever the watch maker deems it necessary.

Also in the wolf of Wall Street Leo wore a 18k solid gold tag heuer series 2000 that has a eta2824-2 cocs certified movement they sell for around £7000-£10000 if you can find one but yes the series 1000 was gold plated and used a quartz movement

By the way, the Heuer 1000 (ref. 988.013) was available in solid 18k gold. I think this is the reference DiCaprio's character would have worn. You'll look like Tony Soprano taking scuba lessons if you wear it, but there you go.
