A factor not mentioned here is how some faces can't grow fuller more filled in beards. Keanu is a great example. He looks good with it tight, not so much with it full because of the gaps.

I'm shocked by the amount of people mocking the term "beard expert". Like, what do you think your barber is? They're beard experts! And especially if he's a barber and he's decided that he's going to focus on facial hair more than anything else, then yeah he absolutely gets to call himself a beard expert. Also, as a hairstylist, I really enjoyed listening to his expertise.

This turned out to be much more interesting and entertaining than I thought it would be. I have never heard of Matty Conrad before now but I really enjoyed his presentation skills along with his knowledge and opinions of facial hair. It doesn't hurt that he can sport that full beard and twirled mustache look. I can't grow a good mustache.

Chris Pine's facial hair is easily my favorite. Ths style he's going for, including the long hair, spoke to me more than any other person on this video. Despite whether you're an expert or not, just like this guy said, it is about expressing yourself and your personality.

It’s interesting how much a beard can shape the first impression of certain men. Especially for men with dark hair like Kit Harrington and Ben Barnes, their entire presence changes without the beard.

Fun fact about Jon Hamm: While doing Mad Men he sometimes had to be shaved up to 3 times a day because his facial hair would come in so fast

I totally agree on Keanu's. I really dislike it when it's full. Looks a bit messy. His face shape is narrow so a well-tailored, short beard suits him better.

im transmasc, and for the longest time i thought that the thing i least look forward to if i ever go on T is facial hair, but then i find myself watching this entire video with fascination. This has brought me a lot more appreciation for beards than i had before.

I’d love if you talked about some classic great beards. Kurt Russel in The Thing (the gold standard in my book), Robert Redford in Jeremiah Johnson, even Al Pacino in Serpico was pretty great
