OK, let me explain the debate in the comments. So there are two hand formations you can use when passing a volleyball. The first and most popular one is placing your left flat hand first upward, then your right hand the same form below the other hand, with your thumbs out touching each other. This is the example shown in the video and is known as the, “pancake”.
Another example is having your right fist out with knuckles portrait way facing in front of you, with your left hand wrapped around your knuckles.
Again, these are the two ways to pass a volleyball. There is not only one way and the way it’s shown in this video is not incorrect.
