That dude does mind, he minds A LOT. You know a lot of people go into those mountains and never come out. He was throwing out some serious killer vibes

What I find more amazing it that fellow found the Lost Dutchman's mine, when so many have been after it.

Amazing story. Well done History. Sounds like Jacob may have heisted gold from the superstition mountains...but not the Aztec Gold. The White Birds mark the spot perhaps.

Fascinating! Certainly, many Aztec artifacts are waiting to be discovered. I dream of filming in beautiful Arizona, 🎥 discover some ancient site there! <3

The ore he showed does look similar to the matchbox of Jacob waltz that is the only known gold from the Dutchman's mine.

Tha Aztecs say the moved south through that sort of area.
The Anasazi Mesa Verde and Chaco Canyon had wide trade roads on the tabletops to Mexico and were on the way.
The Anasazi were pushed out by the environment and others about the same time or 50 years earlier than the Fremonts head south.
Utes were from Utah through all Colorado. The Apaches wandered south and the Plains tribes pushed west. The Utes retreated to the mountains in central Colorado. Interesting that there is a language connection with the Aztec as well as trade.

in chaco canyon i read there was jade from mexico found as it was a major trading hub at the time. the descendants of chaco are the new mexico pueblos. this was in 1100. maybe they took the treasure north on those trade routes and hid it in the badlands or in the Malpais

Maybe the treasure is the friends he made along the way

So check this out. I'm glad this video mentions Freemont natives. BECAUSE - back in the early 2000s . Utah was building what's called TRAX which is an inner city train like a subway. When they were building the platform downtown for this train, they unearthed one of the biggest Freemont living spaces ever discovered and instead of reporting it they buried it under the train platform. All that remains now is a plaque on the train platform that says exactly this.
