I feel there are some criminals like Sand Man, that believe in the good Spider Man represents. And the good he sees in them. Sand Man wanted to go knowing a good person like Peter, saw the good in him.

Spider-man, The Flash, and Batman. My all time top 3 superheroes. Not because they’re the most badass. But because despite all the trauma they’ve been through and all the truly evil villians they’ve faced, they’ve retained their humanity.

This is a hero. Its not about beating the shit out of the villains. Its about comforting them and helping them. Peter does this good. So does flash. And so does Batman when the writers dont write him as punisher. Lets not forget Batman stayed at Aces side until she died. Not letting her die alone giving her comfort in her final moments. Flashs enemies respect him so much some even help him. Ultra humanoid and flash even saved christmas for orphan kids. This folks is why those heroes are the best heroes

I rlly like how even tho sandman’s and the others always mess up spideys day, spidey will always be there for them even if they’re his enemy.

I feel bad for him. Sandman, Shocker, and Rhino are probably the least evil of Spider-Man’s rouge’s gallery. Although if Spider-Man asked Doom for help he would’ve done it, I never understood if someone has a problem why don’t they go to Doctor Doom and just say if he can’t do it they’ll get Reed, Doom would find a solution to anything just to prove he’s more competent than Reed 😭

they did a good job at showing this level of care in spiderman 2, the time leading up to the big fight their trying to talk him down till there's now choice then they spend the rest of the game helping him piece his mind back together.
