I'll tell you how I knew about them both being in the Spider-Man movie. I was driving down the street one day, having no idea that there was a Spider-Man movie being filmed. One of the first scenes filmed was that scene at the graveyard at the end of the movie, where they film a lot of Walking Dead episodes. But that day there were so many trailers everywhere that I knew that it couldn't be Walking Dead. I eventually recognized that it was a Marvel film because I see them and their filming equipment all around Atlanta all the time. And just at that moment I saw him walk out of a trailer and begin walking up to the sidewalk. I asked out loud, "Is that Tobey Maguire?" My friend who was actually driving was staring so hard that he nearly crashed into the car ahead of us. So we figured then that he was going to be in a Spider-Man movie. Coincidentally, we saw that probably in early November 2020, and most of the events of the movie occur shortly after Halloween in early November, 2024.

A few months later, Andrew Garfield was here in Atlanta around the same time that Willem Dafoe was in Atlanta. Nobody knew that Garfield was here, but Dafoe wasn't really hiding. Dafoe had even said something that indicated that he wouldn't be wearing that silly green helmet in the movie. And Garfield ordered food through DoorDash. The delivery person's soul must have left his body when he recognized Garfield's face. He told everybody. I think that might have been around February 2021. Right around that same time, if I remember correctly, Patrick Stewart made some public comments that he has no interest in playing Professor Xavier anymore, but he just hapoened to quietly visit Atlanta, then leave. I think he was hoping that the small commercial he shot would throw everybody off his scent. From February until December there was absolutely no doubt in my mind, and no way to convince me otherwise, that Maguire, Garfield, and Holland were going to be in No Way Home together, and Stewart was reprising his Professor X role in Multiverse of Madness.

That could only mean one thing that Andrew Garfield was there to save MJ to redeem himself as Gwen died in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.. This was meant to be at secret and he spoiled it.. But most people didn't notice all thanks to Zendaya's cover up lol
