Just a reminder Jamison was actually a good guy I mean I didn't realize this until I was older but the first time I was actually introduced to him and what kind of person he was was the Sony movie and when pressed by the Goblin about who takes the pictures right after he sends Peter Parker away for the pictures he had taken Jameson lies through his teeth to protect Peter so this is not out of character I believe in the Animated Series it did go into detail from the comics that Jameson doesn't like people who hide their identities because of what happened to his family

Susan offering Peter a spot in the team seems too nice of her, she had the right to get pissed off at Peter's face for not getting rid of the symbiote earlier had it not cost her Reed's life.
