We love how you blurred out the gas prices behind Ms. Ginger, so that Gavin Newsom’s statement won’t be seen as ridiculous as it is. You are part of the bureaucratic machine that is helping to ruin your state. Good Luck!

High taxes, loss of jobs, high cost of living . Why would anyone not leave California

Another corporation moving from a blue state to a red state. Crazy!

Newsom's spin that it's good because we want to focus on clean energy, is laughable. What about Oracle, Tesla, HP, and the rest? Do you have a "spin" for each industry?

Clearly the Bay Area economic guy was about to make a statement about the unfriendly business practices in California and they cut him off...nothing to see here!

However you feel about the companies or state policies, it always means less jobs in California. Another loss.

Wow! This is a massive tax loss for California! And the state is already in the hole financially. And Gavin has his head up his butt as usual. The Chevron refinery in Richmond CA is staying, but the corporate headquarters is leaving. That means all the accountants, financial analysts, economists, executives, engineers, you know, the high paying clean jobs are going to Texas.

Ha ha other local mainstream media online so scared they have turned their comments section off. Real shame the Chevron campus in San Ramon is beautiful. Same thing happened to Telecom Gultch in Pleasanton. Empty buildings. Empty buildings. California becoming a ghost state.

Chevron has been talking about this for at least 25 years, Huge loss for California but I don't think they get it! They've been drinking the kool-aid for too many years!

Keep voting democrat California. It was the best State when I moved here in 1989. I am also considering moving out.

Way to go, Gavin. Do you think tolerating crime has no consequences? Tell that to your state budget.

I live in Houston, glad to see the jobs and tax revenue coming our way, however, never want to see ppl loose their jobs anywhere, the Governor of California owes it to his citizens to stop the bleeding from companies leaving California. It seems as if he’s either in denial or doesn’t care, but all these companies leaving will eventually hurt the local economies.

Bombshell? This was a long time coming. It is so costly to operate a business in California particularly with oil industry. Ca wants no more fossil fuel use. Not a surprise

This is marking the beginning of the end for California

Why would they not leave? The CA govt has become Hostile. I left over two years ago. Born in CA in 68, grew up there. Done...I left for good.
