The Vedic cycles suggest that believing in only ONE ancient golden age civilization is still LINEAR thinking. There has possibly been a "golden age" every 25, 000 years or so. The Sumerian accounts talk of kings that ruled entire vedic cycles, so how fantastic would it be to gather enough evidence to distinguish different ages throughout our ancient past?

My dad was a preacher for 35 years until his death, and as you'd expect he life lessons for me all the time and similarly biblical lessons. But there was a talk he had with me once that has always stood out. He used to tell me that he found biblical evidence that lead him to believe that humanity or more specifically civilization itself has reset a few times. He explained what he meant. He said he believed there were ancient civilizations that have come and gone in some sort of cyclical manner and each one of those civilizations are in succession of the previous. So one exists, then is wiped out. Another is established then wiped out and so on and so forth. With each having their own Adam and Eve and apocolyptic type moment etc.
I use the word civilization but he refeerred to them as something like stages of life's existence i.e. creations. So just as in religous context we think of everything that exists whether visible or not as being part of God's creation his speculation or suspition was that the entire "creation" has reset. You can think of that as existence. So existence itself has reset. And in part this is where angels came from and why a portion of angels where jealous of God's love for humanity. My memory is not the greatest, so that's about all i remember. If anyone has any insight to this please let me know.

Where should I start.... I will start where most of you probably are. You are interested in
1. Ancient human history
2. The truth

That’s actually were I started too. I was into these kind of theories for years. I watched all kind of videos and found many interesting similarities myself. But oneday I was so fascinated about one archaeological place in South America that I started to research on my own. Rapidly I found out that the architecture behind the stones who were designed to fit in each other and I quote „must have been worked with lasers“ are by no means something unexplainable.
I started doubting the people who had this idea, like Erich Daeniken or Hancock.

Unfortunately (back then) it was easy to debunk a lot of these theories and ideas. The most beautiful thing I found out was that agriculture was the reason for settlement and civilization. Agriculture itself is only possible due to our knowledge of the seasons. So where do we get our knowledge about the calendar from? Exactly, by watching the stars and reoccurring patterns.

For me it seemed way more reasonable. Ancient civilization tried to conserve there knowledge about the stars and therefor the calendar, because knowing the seasons was utterly important for agriculture, and agriculture was the very reason for the existence of all mentioned civilizations.
The pyramids of Gizeh, the pyramids in modern Mexico, Stonhenge and an even older Stonehenge found in Scotland. The Stone Lines in France... I could go on forever, but you get it.

I know, I know. These videos claim even more things you will say. There are many more things to be explained. Not only do I want to start writing a book here, but I also want to admit that there are things no one actually knows.

My point is just this. Be skeptically, always. Even towards what I wrote, but also towards these kind of videos and the people behind the ideas. Question everything. I started to love science for this, because that’s what science is. Asking questions and sometimes finding answers.

I remember being hooked on this kind of theories, mainly they were fantastic stories, but when you examine it, you realize they jump pretty quickly to really extreme conclusions, without ever having any doubt.

This guy just claimed that people in the ancient times were connected, but before I start ranting I wish to give you some of the best advice I ever found when it comes to finding the truth.

I don't know how this video slipped through, but I really like this one. Very well-produced, nicely paced, and covers a lot of important topics. Really great job with this one.

Right now, I'm in agreement with the other independent youtube researchers: Charles Kos, Chuck at Cfapps7865, Matt at Ancient Architects, Mark at WISE UP, Jimmy at Bright Insight, Vlad at vlad9vt, Brien Forester at his channel, Praveen Mohan at Phenomenal Travel Videos, and Hugh Newman at Megalithomania (among others of course like pukajay productions who don't upload much and those like Graham Hancock who don't have dedicated channels)

They all believe in (at least one) civilization that predates all other known civilizations. They all have their own expertise, their own individual hypotheses and research, but they are all connected by their dedication to understanding our history.

I suppose you could call us all the independent historians of youtube. Some will converse in the comments and share ideas, others won't. Those that I have listed are honest, earnest, respectful, and committed to the truth. Those that share ideas give credit to each other, those that have their own hypotheses tend not to, but I think everyone plays fair in the free market of ideas.

We all have a piece of the truth, we all have a piece of the puzzle.

The sheer volume of distinct similarities between cultures of both sides of the ocean show that there MUST have been some kind of connection. The only way to not see it is if you've got your head completely buried in the sand. That many coincidences are just impossible.

Two possible explanations:
1. An original mother civilization spread out worldwide, and all similarities are the result of a common origin.
2. Columbus was NOT the first to cross the oceans. In the distant past it happened regularly, and one culture influenced another. The Magna Fuente Bowl is physical evidence that Sumerians journeyed to South America.

Not denying that there is more to human history than we know, but the pyramids all over the planet have a simple explaination - if you want to build a tall building, but you don't have access to structural steel, you're going to wind up building a pyramid.

Stone can only support a certain amount of weight before the stone will fracture, so any attempt to build a tall building will fail once it reaches a certain height.

A pyramid is the only shape that can pass those limits on height and weight, because each successive layer of stone weighs less than the one beneath it.
