Of course we can never be certain one way or the other, if such a species and civilization had existed there have been at least sixty million years between then and now, nothing like buildings or infrastructure would have survived in any recognizable form by the advent of humanity.

There is an obsidian bracelet found at Asikli Hoyuk in the 90s that defies all ideas of what neolithic humans were capable of. It’s a nearly perfect circle and is polished to a mirror finish with a ridge in the center that is nearly perfectly in the middle of the design, like nanometers off. Jay to many myths and legends have turned out to have been rooted in fact to overlook anything. The number of out of place artifacts continues to grow. Decade ago everyone swore civilization started for us just 5-6, 000 yrs ago. But we now know its atleast twice that! In less than 40 yrs we went from horse an buggy to pulling nukes out our arses! So people now believe weve been around in our modern form for as much as 300k yrs with some thinking more. So i guess we just ran around naked being dinner for whatever, while we ate berries and wandered around aimlessly! We've had time to pop up 3 or 4 times and get slapped back and restart.

I disagree with Brannon in that respect, that IF dinosaurs did asteroid mining and we develop this ability ourselves in space we will find traces, because in the vacuum of space there would be a lot preserved, that would not exist on earth anymore.
