A guide to Leveling Necromancy 1-99

READ: The scythe ability now has a longer cooldown period in between hits (new patch), allowing you to use casts 2/3 more frequently. Consider placing it further down the bar if the bars in this video no longer function as intended. Example abyssal savage bar: Death skulls> Soul sap > Soul strike > Scythe > Ghost

NOTE/EDIT: The horror event has been fixed. You'll now see green smoke on top of the pad.
NOTE/EDIT2: You can apparently do boss masses with loot share and the top ~16 players will be able to get a fragment drop at Nex.

As an FYI - if you're using the ritual method he touches on at 23:03, the best xp you can get is using a tier 3 ritual and hitting 700% attraction.

I came to the game foe the first time because of necromancer. I have nothing done. But I've been following your guide and appreciate it.

I've had to watch it 12x because I don't understand much of the lingo used but I'm learning

Eric, love your guide here. Would be great to have weapon augmentation perk suggestions at the various levels. Also thanks for showing your revolution bars. I tended to "auto setup" these as I wasn't sure what to use and they seemed to be pretty bad.

some things to note,
mogres mini quest is required to be able to kill mogres to get the flippers
sometimes flippers wont drop, and you have to return to the necromancy smithy and repeat AND FINISH the dialogue to be able to get the flippers drop
after using the ankou agitator, killing the ankou is not required, although they will become aggressive towards you. use the agitator enough times, and eventually a level 70-something ankou will spawn (a stronger variant). this stronger variant ankou has to be killed and is the ankou that will drop the ankou residue.

Also note that 6:00 not only does it keep your inventory clean but it means right clicking and "repairing all" and doing new rituals will automatically consume the items instead of you having to do it more manually.
