I love how necromancy makes use of other skills, that totally makes sense. Crafting and upgrading your stuff seems so much better to me. It is so much easier to introduce people into a combat system this way, rather than giving them overwhelming desicions to choose from, cuz how would you know what's good or not? Necromancy fixes that problem in my opinion, it is a in depth desicion making tool.

Do the easy task set and you get a book that will Tele you right to the anvil. Sadly its only 10/day but quick runes that way

Thank you for the guide. Honestly, the walk to the new rune altars isn't bad. There are altars way worse to travel.

The Reborn warriors in the Phoenix Lair drop ashes when killed. I got about 45 by doing a Phoenix run.
Alternatively, some of my clan mates have suggested the Abyss (fairy ring ALR) but I don't think that area is instanced, so you might have competition.

Word of warning though, using magic notepaper on ashes doesn't work, but using the _ashes_ on the notepaper does.
