Fact is a country needs a shared culture and language and an identity otherwise you have division, not diversity. Take a drive through the lower mainland of BC and you'll notice racial, cultural and linguistic segregation. You have Burnaby that is overwhelmingly Chinese with mandarin signage, and Surrey which is overwhelmingly indian with Punjabi signage, and then you'll have Langley which is white with English signage. This is not diversity, it is division. Brampton, for example, is not "diverse", it is just a bunch of Indian people speaking punjab
