Out of poverty??? We had only 0.15 cents to get myself, my senior citizen father and my partner through the last month! And it was the same for the last previous months. After paying the rent, $950 to the utility bill! And the other bills, by May 31 we were left with $14 to get us through June. No food, no nothing! My dads family made this province! Made a village in Alberta in 1891, with their blood, sweat, and hard work. Yet here we are, totally below X 100 the poverty line. It should not be like this! Same thing going forward to July. No help, no family to help us. Completely screwed. Thanks for NOTHING! 🍁🍁🍁

Our dime features Bluenose

Ron Turcotte's our number one jockey

We're the home of The Band and Neil Young

And of beer that is second to none

Many think we're polite

We were once mostly white

Now we're everything under the sun

So I wish Happy Birthday to us

In the land of Blue Rodeo, Rush
