Automatic bids raise your budget fast I had to pause my sponsored brands ad and turn back on my sponsored products ad with .39 cent bid and $4 a day to give the ad time to make a profit. It is slower but if people are looking for my genre they will find the ad. I don't feel I need to pay thousands of dollars for ever one to see my ad the reader that is looking will eventually see it within my budget during this holiday season. Next year I will do worldwide and a longer campaign in the spring.

You must remember that using Amazon Ads is a "long tail" approach. You build ads, discover what works and then build more ads. It's not an add water and get immediate success plan. You must work at it and use the system.

Hi Bryan! Big fan here from your five day challenge.

I sell paperbacks all across the world and doing ok so far. Your approach of low bids, increase budget/ reduce time works pretty well for me with sleepy ads and I really like the generation 1, 2, 3 approach that you deploy over time. Both angles are working well for me.

I’ve had success in UK (home market), CA, FR, and Germany looks promising but (without sounding like some 90’s pop band) I can’t seem to break America.

In your experience have you found US ads to be more expensive? Is it just saturation? I just can’t get anything off the ground and when I turn up the bids I end up at 60-70 ACOS..!!
