Doyle Bramhall II was born in Texas, and lived half of his life in Northern California. His father, Doyle Bramhall, Sr., played drums for legendary bluesmen Lightnin' Hopkins and Freddie King and was a lifelong collaborator with childhood friends Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimmie Vaughan.

what I love about Eric, and Doyle for that matter, is that they don't compete for the "best lead", they just step up because they are together and want to give it all when they let it rip!

I've loved and adored Eric Clapton for as long as I can remember. When our own Texas Doyle Bramhall Jr hooked up with Slowhand himself I was thrilled! He's very unique and talented and loved him with Arc Angels. One very lucky guy is he but worthy!

Splendido!! Devo dire che mi piace molto la versione con Steve Winwood che ha una voce bellissima e tagliente. Grandi!!! ❤

Yes I agree. Music should never be about ego. It should only be about expression.
At least that's what I think!

Best version cream Albert hall Doyal is up there with the very best. He owned the Roger Waters in the flesh gig with snowy white 🤘

In 1968 Eric Clapton recorded a fabulous version of Crossroads with Cream (Wheels of Fire album). Since then he's revived the song with a lot of different groups, and all these later versions are dummied-down and lifeless, just like this one.

Could be around 2007-08. Eric just gets better. I've been listening to him since John Mayall. He just gets better with age. Having Doyle Bramall doesn't hurt anything at all.

Eric got sober just in time. Many his age get by on Reputation. Eric still works for it. Clean Living is the Life for Me. (trying)

Doyle played with Roger Waters band in the 2000's. He whipped up on those David Gilmour solos.
