Prince playing the solo for “While my Guitar Gently Weeps” is another Prince masterpiece.

Lifetime metalhead to the bone here... This man was a master electric guitarist! Hands down one of the greatest of all time!

Watched him play this in Sydney, just a few short months before he died, my brother had passed a few days before, and when he played the opening arpeggio to Purple Rain he said, I know some of you have suffered loss recently and this is for you, RIP Purple one xxx

Had the insane privilege to see him at the Super Bowl in Miami... under torrential rainfall the game was a miserable forgettable event... except for THAT!!! Having gone on to perform against advice, this legend blistered the stage with unspeakable talent... he owned that stadium and by the time he was done I couldn't have cared less about the game... I will never forget it.

Prince was the modern version of Mozart. A true virtuoso and amazing song writer. Gifted by the music Gods.

Solid, killer axe work by a master of the craft. Not a shredder, more 70s & 80s style, the type of playing that stretches out your emotional connection with the music and takes you to those oh so sweet sweet highs. Travel well, Prince.

he was proficient with at least 23 musical instruments, and to me, Prince is the greatest guitarist ever, he knows this instrument so intimately, his guitar work always blows me away

Incredible feeling in every note. Each one deliberate in time and length. each bend, each pause, coming from within Prince. Just beautiful.

Most people don't know how muti-talented Prince was, and the impact he had on modern music. He is greatly missed. ❤😢❤

I only came because I wanted to see who had the guts to make such a statement....Once I saw who it was (even though he's not my style) my whole attitude changed completely. I always know who the extraordinary musicians are, no matter what genre, and give them their due respect and this "MetalHead" says that was a magnificent solo. \m/

Probably the greatest, at least one of the greatest, rock/pop musicians to ever grace this earth. He was so amazing in all aspects of the art.

What always puzzled me with Prince playing guitar, is that not only he played well, but his hands on the neck and strumming moved in the very harmonious way too. Not only he was a virtuoso, but he also was beautiful to look at when playing. If you compare with other guitar virtuosi, he was all suave moves, nothing jerky or out of place. Look at his hands on the fretboard. Magic!
