for me the impressive part is he didn't spent 6 minutes shredding three different instruments, but composed something tasteful that actually justifies the existence of such a monstrosity.

Bet you didn't know the percussion is being played by his toes, and the fog has been following him around for years. What an artist 👏

The man IS the entire 80's. Just raw power, skill and grace.

this somehow feels like its from a thousand years in the future and a thousand years in the past, this man truly is a multidimensional being that came to this planet during our time to bless us with mind bending music

I'm surprised it doesn't have a full drum set attached to it.

Ok. We all knew Steve Vai was great…but this is NEXT FUCKING LEVEL! Seriously blown away.

I know I didn't just watch this man play a guitar, bass, and sitar at once. This man isn't a Hydra, he is Vishnu

This is why he played with Frank for so long. Pure Talent and Artistry, a Master of the Instrument.

Vai has no ceiling. Always innovative. Forever a legend in the guitar world.

Hearing this song first and then seeing it played now, I appreciate it on a whole other level. Awesome work, Steve, you did it again!

His face says it all. Can't tell where he ends and the music begins, it's all one.

This is absolutely incredible: playing three instruments at one time. Amazing timing and accuracy.

40 years into his career, constantly innovating and kicking ass. Flawless victory!

The only reason to be Steve Vai is so you can rock 4 different stringed instruments at once while kickin' it in a misty dungeon with a headband on... which is a great reason to be Steve Vai.

This man can make anything with strings look so insanely easy
And you can tell that he just feels the music like NOBODY ELSE ever has!
Every one of his original songs is like a peek inside his soul!

This guy is definitely not from this planet. Simply, absurdly fantastic!!!

The man is a legend. A true guitar HERO.

It's so baffling to see someone so far into their career still constantly innovating in ways we never anticipated. Just when you think everything's already been done Steve is always there to prove you wrong.

I love to see someone who doesnt need to get any better... still challenging himself and getting it fookin done

I rememeber seeing steve on the paladia channel for the first time about 18 years ago. I was amazed as a young noobie drummer
