Late tip: use a camping backpack because you know damned well that a small cute and dainty backpack WILL NOT survive in the the hell we call "school"

Small tips:
If your school says you can't do these and you need to use a type of notebook or whatever just colour code them at the top with a highlighter and if you don't want your subjects to get mixed up with the accordion folder put the smaller ones INTO that.
It may be hard and you may prefer smaller pencil cases but try to get a longer one to shove in stuff like rulers, calculators, maths sets, etc so you don't have to look through all your pockets and so your objects are protected even more. It also means with the wider space it is easier to look in and grab what you need.
Tie a ribbon or whatever around your earphones instead of using that taco thing to save money.
Find a backpack with almost a hidden pocket in your main one for keys, phone, money etc instead of throwing them in the front pocket for safety.

The problem is at my school we MUST have different notebooks and binders for each subject. And my backpack is always so full and it's not even small, it's a large size. I look at my friends with their small backpacks and I wonder how they do it.... It's crazy how much we have to carry at my school.

Pro tip: if the customizable notebook is too expensive just use a binder it's essentially the same thing and way cheaper!

This is my way of tidying up my backpack

• Put all your notebooks and books in 1 folder (for each subject)

• wrap your earphones and store them in a small container ( better to put it in the front small pocket of ur backpack)

• Get a multi compartment pencil case and organize your pencils and pens by compartment

Tips :
☆ Use your extra folder to store personals like diaries, datebooks or sketchbooks

☆ Have an emergency kit to store snacks and makeup.

Random stuff i need 2 say:

♢ You don't need to have a nackpack with 3 or more compartments, i have a backpack with inly 2 compartments and i still manage to keep my backpack tidy

♡ You will probs need solo notebooks if ur not in college cuz asian middle schools don't allow those notebooks

♡ Store ur emergency kit and ur earphone container in the front compartment, and store ur folders in the main compartment

♡ If you have a small compartment in your emergency bag, use that compartment to store your paper money ( Keep ur money together using an elastic band )

♡ Keep ur locker key in your emergency kit ( remember to have a keychain for your locker keys so you don't loose your keys )

For anyone coming to this video for 2019:

bundle your similar supplies in your pencil case. For example, put your pens together and bundle them together with a rubber band. It’s much easier to find any supply you need and it eliminates time searching though a big ass pouch. The rubber bands may break but they’re really aren’t that expensive to replace. You can buy a pack at the dollar store.

Keep organizing tools/not always necessary supplies IN YOUR PENCIL CASE. Stuff like paper clips, erasers, white out, etc. are SO USEFUL and most of the time can help you STAY organized. Don’t just throw them in there though! There are countless inexpensive ways to organize them. Paper clips fit easily in a tik tic case, big erasers fit in an icebreakers case along with a tiny sharper for example.

I always want to keep my bag organized so I thought of this crap but seriously come up with your own that works for you! Being organized isn’t just one time and you’re set for the year. Set aside some time when you notice your bag is turning HORRIBLE. It saves so much stress in the long run. It also doesn’t take that long! I hope you have a good school year no matter how you organize your bags!
