Improving SSA Disability Assessments - Elizabeth Rasch & Leighton Chan, NIH Scientists

Elizabeth Rasch, P.T., Ph.D., and Leighton Chan, M.D., M.P.H., are working on a project with the Social Security Administration to revise and update the SSA's process for evaluating applications for disability benefits at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Intramural Research Program (IRP). Dr. Rasch is a Staff Scientist and Chief of the Epidemiology and Biostatistics Section of the Rehabilitation Medicine Department, and Dr. Chan is Chief of the Rehabilitation Medicine Department at the NIH Clinical Center.
