Best way to kill mosquitoes, Cheap and EASY!

If outside all you need to do is put out a block of dry ice. The CO2 attracts them and they die instantly when they land on it. Situate the dry ice away from your deck and guests won't be bothered.

This is great. I have run 2 mosquito magnets over the years, till they broke, and they work like a charm. Same exact concept, a small flame to produce CO2 and a small fan and catch bucket. I think this idea is actually superior since the fan here has much more power to both spread the CO2 around to better attract the little buggers and better suction to trap them. I'm making one. I feel like this is the year I get back control over my yard.

Put water in an open container, add a mosquito dunk. Last a whole season and a lot cheaper and efficient.
No expensive fans or electricity.

I just finished reading comments...OMG, people, don't be ridiculous. Of course it's not going to kill every mosquito in the universe! It will cut down the numbers quite a lot, and every one it kills is one less to bite you.
High speed fan...not some huge industrial thing, just a reasonably strong household fan with a high setting. I have 2 little 14" fans that I run a lot in the summer anyway. I'm going to use one in the house. The mosquitoes have been eating me up, I'm covered with bites.
Ok, the music sucks, but you could turn down the volume.

I do the same but I use screen like what is used on a screen door. This allows more airflow. Also I mount a small light on the fan. Not an led as that has no heat. I fasten the screen with magnets to make it easy to remove to be hosed off. It gets full of bugs and dirt quickly.

I dont think people are understanding how this works. The fan operates as normal blowing air towards you. The bait, which is the oil scented light, is placed behind the fan to draw in the mosquitoes. When the mosquitoes get within suction range they are sucked into the back of the fan, passing through the blades, and getting trapped on the installed netting on the opposite side. Without the net they would just be blown through, slapping you in the face if your were standing in front of it enjoying the cool breeze...lol, could you imagine what your face would look like.. haha.

This might not be a cheap method with electric cost. but it seems to be very effective. Now get it to zap them on contact and you have a winner..lol.

any light would do but to quicken the death, you could spray a little raid behind the fan once there is a bunch trapped. maybe even spray the netting ahead of time. The real best way to keep the mosquitoes away is to leave buckets of water or a kiddie pool with water and ad dunks - the water attracts the mosquitoes to lay eggs and the dunks kills the larvae naturally before they become mosquitoes. For a quick easy repellent, just put torch fuel in an oil lamp and burn with a low flame and it keeps all the biting stuff away great.
