When creating a query based on many tables its important to only add in the tables that are needed in the query design. Add in too many or too few will result in incorrect dynasets. What's important is that there is a clear relational linkage between the tables. This should represent a chain of relationships between a table on one side of the design view that snakes it's way through other tables to the table on the opposite side of the relationships.
