My uncle worked on 300 in the special effects division. He said Gerard went out of his way to make everyone comfortable. Paying for hundreds of lunches and late dinners and never once yelled or treated the staff poorly. He also said he was indeed shredded on the set and never understood why he needed the painted on abs, but it gave him a cool job.... Fassbender was the opposite. Drunk half the time and was a complete asshole to everyone he worked with.

It was nowhere NEAR bad acting! It was iconic and truly put me in those times whenever he’d say something. He’d sound like the utmost savage person to ever fkn live…. 😂 Like if a lion was ever a human, it was the bold Leonidas. 😂 That mf was If I was on the opposing side in those times, I’d be fkn frightened knowing that Leonidas and his 300 warriors are just slaughtering EVERYTHING lol.
