Story #2- A female sleeping in her car in a rest area is a horrible idea. Rest areas are magnets for criminals. . Think about it. They are on a freeway. Quick access in, and quick egress out. They are especially dangerous near big cities, and near interchanges.

Story #1 - common sense is not so common, so glad they got away but they were about to be trafficked/car jacked/ and probably worse. NEVER pull over on the highway like this. Why would anyone do this… If you must pull over do so in a public well lit space. I just I don’t understand how people can have so little street smarts.

Story number 2: freakin hit the panic button lady! Also, she made a mistake by parking away from the other cars. I’ve slept in my car at rest stops at least five times. All alone by myself. But the one thing I always do, is park dead smack front or causer close to the entrance and f the restrooms or a shop or so if the rest stop has that.
