For someone like me that also has a BlackMagic camera I could see this being very useful. I love everything about my blackmagic except for the fact that there is no camera app that allows you to see the screen!

Sony A6000 series have that built on the app, you can live view, shoot, record, zoom in and out not additional equipment to buy...

Sony has control monitor app, free and less latency .

It's sounds great. But there is more opinions if you don't need so powerful tools. I'm beginner and I need just basics so i don't need much. It's should work on many modern devices but i will write what I use. I use my Sony Xperia 1 III as monitor for Sony Alpha A7 III. Micro HDMI to HDMI cable is plugged into Ugreen not expensive capture card with USB C output that is plugged into smartphone. I use Sony built-in software but on Google play there is more free and paid opinions. Thank you for creating content 👍🙏
