"The frontal cortex doesn't even fully develop until age 25, which is wild!

What does the frontal cortex do? Gratification postponement, executive function, long-term planning, and impulse control. Basically, it makes you do the harder thing."

Good theory but what about the clear body based markers like too low stress hormones, this is why medication works so good some patients even sleep better with stimulants they start to relax … I too relax under stimulants my pulse goes down instead up… my heart rate lowers by 4 beats…

My GF came over yesterday to tell me that G Maté is wrong about adhd, and that it is strictly a genetic disorder. This is because she can't handle the guilt about her own kids' adhd issues.

I used to admire Gabor Mate; ever since the Harry interview I have lost faith in his rational. Now I with his blatant disregard for ADHD experiencers and their families I will ignore all that he says. He clearly has not kept up with science and is spewing his personal “wounds” as truth.
