I had similar problems. Almost threw the thing against the wall but a cooler head prevailed lol. I am using an external battery charger now and all is great!

Hero 8 out of the box won’t charge, turn on, beep, or seem to work at all; was very excited about it, but I’m thinking of relying on my phone camera.

I been doing same what did you do but it's say Your GoPro will power off.connect to a 5V/2A power source or higher to use your GoPro without battery..I don't know what I'm gonna do can you help, me??

Wasting money NEVER I bought brand new GP10 after charging it wont open. Soft reset wont work. . ineed to plug in every time to charger to use mg GP10. . ITS

Just got mine yesterday and it's doing the same thing, can't seem to get it past 75% and it keeps not wanting to turn on. Hoping to find a fix for this. I just read somewhere that someone used an apple fast charge plug and it fixed the issue, so I may try that.

I just got gopro11 same problem, its not turning on. Its a very cheap build. will return it.

Its a waste of money to buy hero 10.The brand new gopro 10, i bought can't charge fully, it gets overheated so soon..
