Most manufacturers do not recommend charging any battery from a computer.

The screen is blinking on and off that’s kind of weird. I’ve never heard of that. You may have to close close it out. Remove the battery and re-insert it and then see if it stops.

I have a brand new go pro 10 and I've been charging it for 2 hours plugged into my MacStudio. The red light is on for 2 hours. then it beeped and turned on so I thought it was ready. But I took the usb c charging lead out, and it immediately said low battery and turned off! How do I know it's definitely charging ?? How long does it take to charge? is mine even working??

Wow I had been pressing and pressing so hard my finger is bruise I even at the beginning didn't know how to do it so I broke my nail and got cuts this is extremely hard to get out I still haven't open it to charge yet, looks I will not be able to use the gopro for a while until someone helps me how to open it I think is stuck hopefully the next version they make the charging access more easier!

Tom - I've read somewhere that the GoPro is very picky with the charging cord. It doesnt like some and the factory cord is recommended?? Any truth to that ?
