Nutrafol is an over the counter hair loss supplement that targets hair growth and treating hair thinning and was co founded by a Greek male model who also happens to be an engineer with great hair. They are a New York city based company, and might be one of the fastest hair growing supplements on the market today. There website even says, they are the Number 1 dermatologist recommended hair growth supplement brand. Which I found interesting.

As more of the population ages, it starts to make sense, the demand is there, 40% of women and up to 50% of men have some type of hair loss and they will resort to wanting to find the best solution to reverse hair loss. And nutrafol knows this too, they offer many supplements to target different individuals.

Which means you dont have to worry about harmful chemicals being in your supplement since they are made in a FDA registered laboratory and they are GMP certified, which means the products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards. Saw palmetto can be a great dht blocker for hair growth, along with maca, but it could interfere with any blood-thinning medicines and is not recommended in pregnancy.

Nutrafol ashwagandha.
Ashwagandha is a powerful adaptogen known to balance cortisol levels, manage and reduce stress, improve sleep, which is why they added it in nutrafol because they recognize stress affects your hair. While those can all be great, ashwagandha may not be well suited for those with thyroid disease.

Nutrafol collagen.
The marine collagen, again a great option to add in for hair, but if you have a fish allergy you want to avoid it.

I've been taking Nutrafol for approximately a year but, I only take one pill a day. And let me tell you, I have tired almost everything on the market. This stuff really works, I'm 61 my thick hair started coming out when I made 50 and went into Menopause. When your hair is falling out for a women is very stressful and how you tell someone NOT to worry about their hair. My hair isn't growing faster but I don't see my scalp anymore like before .

Take anything with caution. It worked extremely well for me but everyone is different. My hair is filling in all over my thinning spots after just three months. The quality of the existing hair improved dramatically as it was probably nutrient deficient. I was consistent for two months, stopped taking it for a few months, then just started back a month ago. Even with inconsistent use, my hair grew like crazy.

It’s expensive for most people but worth it for many, however, you could probably skip a few days here and there and do some dose dropping here and there but keep the concentration up. I take regular multivitamins on days where I don’t take this. I also cut it down to two sometimes.

I have been on Nutrafol for over six months. (Thyroid problems) and its been good for me; yeah, it’s expensive, but well worth it, in my opinion, and no, I didn’t have any of these side effects. I also use their shampoo and conditioner

i've been taking it for 2-3 weeks (4 pills a day) and i've definitely notice a difference! So ill continue using it. i do notice some white heads on my face like he discussed but nothing that is too intense or annoying to me.

Update: so I did have an increase of whiteheads BUT I started double cleanse (using an oil cleanser and a gel cleanser) and also using la roche posay effuclar duo spot treatment and it decreased my white heads and I still use the nutrafol and this has kept my white heads at bay.

I’ve been trying everything under the sun before having to try nutrafol because of the price and the forever consistency. I am at my wits end and will admit defeat and try this starting today !!! I used it but to take 4 large pills a day was a lot. I have fine thin hair and I was around 49 when I tried it for three months. It did help with thickness but with that being said if you have a thyroid issue be careful. It can cause your bloodwork to be off when checking your T3 and T4 levels.
