if you take a blood test and it shows you're low on iron, then take a recommended dose of iron by a doctor. Low iron can cause hair thinning/loss. Also hair thinning can be a sign of thyroid issues, so check that with your doctor via blood test. :)))

Anyone with cats be careful as ROGAINE IS TOXIC TO CATS!!!! And best wishes on your hair loss journey ❤

Keep your CATS off your pillow and wash your hands!!! Minoxidil residue is HIGHLY toxic for them. I really wish the creators would mention this. ❤

It's been mentioned several times in comments and they should be showing but I just want to make another comment that Rogaine/Minoxidil is *VERY DANGEROUS to cats*. I'm sure to other pets as well.

For my husband hair loss we used micro needling at 1.0 mm depth with 16 needle cartridge 1/week. We have seen great results. Besides microneedling he is taking Saw Palmetto powder supplement for the DHA blocking, low carb diet because the high blood insulin can cause hair loss and rosemary essential oil/castor oil, and some plants tincture. And it works very well. New baby hairs have started showing up in the first month of doing all these things consistently.

I have an autoimmune condition and auto inflammatory skin condition. Good quality probiotics and being mindful of feeding myself properly and including nutrient rich foods and fresh fruit and veg and enough protein - especially when I’m struggling with my mh (a dietician I love says ‘always think about what you can add to rather than subtract from your meals’) has been life changing. But so too has been getting on the right medication to manage inflammation.
Please remember hair loss can be a common symptom of serious medical conditions eg autoimmune disorders, PCOS, perimenopause ❤️

I have prescription 2% Ketoconazole and I used it 2x week for ~1.5 months and it helped me so much. I am very oily (very oily skin and scalp) and this helped my dandruff and itchy scalp to go away. Now I have been using 3% salicylic acid shampoo ~1x week in between regular shampooing. I think using these 2 shampoos have helped me enormously for creating a healthier scalp. I am still losing hair but the amount has reduced, i need to go get some blood work done to see what's wrong. In the meantime i am continuing to take costco multivitamins, vit D3, and vit C daily. i try to not brush my hair when its still wet to reduce hair breakage. Im also doing low level lasers (hairmax head band) but its only been 5 months and i think it could take near a year to see results.

Thank you so so much for this video. My dad has been experiencing a lot of hair loss and because of that, he looks much older than his age 😢 i’ll certainly be buying all the things you recommended. Thank you!

Taking zinc and iron made my nails and hair start growing again. I had tried just about everything including treatments, shampoos, and pills such as hair skin, and nail vitamins. I never noticed a difference when using those (except for nausea) but for some reason, just taking the zinc alone made a drastic change for me.

Rosemary oil diluted in other oils such as sweet almonds oil has been the most effective thing I’ve ever tied including minoxidil. I started observing visible results after the first month, & it HAS been scientifically proven to help.

I noticed I have a pattern of losing a lot of hair during high stress times. This last time, I decided to do something about it. I bought the Pure D'or shampoo and conditioner duo for hair loss. Within three washes, the hair loss in the shower reduced by 2/3rds! I mean I have thick curly afrolatina hair and the hair balls were huge. Not cute when my hair is so thin it falls flat on the top, and fluffy on the sides! I also added The Ordinary hair serum, which is supposed to be used every night like rogain, but thankfully it doesn't smell. I have only been using for a month, but already the reduction in hair loss is encouraging! I am also supplementing with high dose omega 3's, vitamin D, and protein and creatine for fitness purposes. I'll probably add the multivitamins again, just wanted to do an experiment and see if it made a difference.

Don’t use rogaine unless you’re prepared to use it for the rest of your life people. It’s not a quick or temporary solution.

Just a note about Rogaine, be careful if you have cats! They're very sensitive to it, and even a small exposure for them can be very severe! Wash your hands throughly after applying, don't let them near your scalp, or on your pillowcase, etc!

Folic acid is great! My derma put me on it to balance out another medication that causes hair loss. Rogaine very temporary once you stop you lose that hair.

Love your videos! Can you please talk about how female hair loss can begin at the temples please 🙏🏼

I’m 32 and two years ago I noticed hair loss on my temples, but at the time I just thought it would’ve resolved in it’s own but oh boy it got worse 😢

Just started minoxidil + Tretinoin about three weeks ago… hopefully it helps

I'm latina, so Im not interested in aiding my hair to grow elsewhere hahaha
But currently trying The ordinary hair serum, I feel it's drying out my hair at the root, so not sure about that. I also tried the purad'or hair thinning shampoo set, and Im using the blue shampoo like you said. At the very least my hair stopped falling out, not sure about growth yet, but I feel more at peace knowing at least I'm doing something about it!

Be careful with the Rogaine, it can cause anxiety. If you feel anxious after starting this, stop to check if it's the Rogaine.
