Would love to see more hair care videos! Maybe deep dives into common ingredients in haircare to know what to look for in hair products

Very helpful, thank you!! And yes, hair loss takes a HUGE mental toll…I’m 36 and I’ve been dealing with it since I’m 21. It’s awful.

I would love to see a video on causes and potential reversal of gray hair. I love the level of detail you give on all your videos!!

for those looking into Nutrafol, Codeage has a "Hair Vitamins" supplement that is very very similar, it includes essentially all of the "extras" that nutrafold includes. and, anecdotally, it worked the same for me! oh, and it's half the price (about 33-39, depending on where you buy it)

I have been on a prescription minoxidil/finasteride scalp spray for 6 months. I am showing new hairs that are about 1" long. I have been thinning for about the last 15 years. So far I am happy with the results. I told myself I would give it one year. So far, so good.

I’ve been using rosemary oil on my scalp for a little over 6 months. I only use it once or twice a week before I wash my hair (I let it sit on my scalp for at least 30 minutes prior to washing it off) I started noticing less fall out in the shower within the first month. Since I have been very consistent with it, the longer I’ve been using it (again I only use it once or twice a week) the less fall out I’ve been seeing. I could literally get clumps in the drain causing the water to not be able to drain, and would have to clean it out of the way at least 2-3 times whenever I washed my hair. Now I rarely have to clean hair out of the drain at all.

Hi! I think I've seen at least 50 videos now about hair loss. This was definitely one of my favorites. Thank you so much about mentioning how much of a psychological effect it can have... and of showing your hair :)
Makes me feel seen and trust that I'm watching the right person. Thank you!
I wasn’t even experiencing hair loss, I just was curious and wanted to start a better hair routine to make my fine and fragile hair better. So I booked an appointment with a Trichologist (free consultation at a pharmacy). He said my hair is weak, my scalp problematic and he couldn’t see new any hair growth at all. I was told I have Androgenetic Alopecia and he suggested 4 products out of his catalogue from his own brand for 100€. I booked an appointment with a dermatologist because I was just shocked that he mentioned Alopecia.

The dermatologist didn’t look at my scalp closer, didn’t test anything at all, only told me I must have Androgenetic Alopecia and I should take oral Minoxidil for the rest of my life. No blood tests, no nothing.

I am only seeing my scalp now, whenever I see myself in the mirror and showering and drying my hair makes me sweat, it is intense, just like you said.

From the picture in the video, I think I am a grade I and I just don’t want to believe that there is nothing I can do apart from Minoxidil.

I’m seeing so many people on social media talking about deep oiling, scalp massaging, microneedling and I do believe that it works for them and want to try that before just taking oral minoxidil forever. It just scares me that I can’t stop it or I’d lose all hair I gained.

Every doctor here on YouTube advises to go to a Dermatologist, but I can just say, the doctors I’ve seen disappointed me. They disregard all the alternatives I see everywhere online, just say that social media is all fake and that’s it. The trichologist almost screamed when I mentioned oil on the scalp. "NEVER put oil on your scalp." I don't know if he has looked at shampoos lately.

I hardly believe that all verified, certified doctors here on YouTube are making things up. I feel like the doctors here on YouTube educate themselves much more with newer studies instead of only relying on what they learned 20 years ago at university.

I’ve now decided to go ahead with oiling and scalp massaging, also getting vitamins and I was thinking about microneedling, but am scared to ruin the hair I have (although I’ve seen great results) and see what happens in 6 months.
It is really hard. One day I think - it's not even that bad! And then I see myself in a mirror in a store or elevator and want to start crying.

Much love and strength and patience to all people experiencing this - or even worse cases. ❤ Until about 4 weeks ago, I had no idea about all of this.

I just had COVID in May and now I've noticed how thin my hair is on top. Thank you for letting us know this is a side effect. Hoping it fills in again.

Love all of this!! My sweet mom has had a rough few years (my dad passing, dx of multiple myeloma, moving in w my wacky fam) and she became fixated on her hair loss. This video really opened my eyes to the psychological aspect- I have always tried to be compassionate and empathetic but this really helped. Thank you so much for all you do, Ms Sassy Pants (that’s what I call you when talking to my adult besties and sharing your videos! Haha). Appreciate all you do!

Dang! I am an RN, who is very into hair loss and the climical reason "why" and what a person at home can do to help themselves. You did a fantastic job at going through the things available for people who cant go to a Board Certified Dermatologist. One thing to add, if a person can afford it, PRP is available for pregnant woman.

Also, there is a lot if newer evidence and ongoing research regarding near and Infrared light therapy. It can be coupled with Minoxidil and a DHT inhibitor shampoo, which obviously gives a person the best results. Great video!!
