I appreciate that she mentioned at one of her rallies that she would need a majority in Congress to do some of what she wants. It's being realistic and honest, but people don't want to hear it. Some people act like the president inherits a magic wand that they can do anything they want, and they forget that we live in an adversarial system where people who disagree can have veto power with enough votes. This is why you can't just pay attention to the presidential election, you have to pay attention to down ballot races as well. You have to vote to send people to the federal and state legislatures that are going to work on the things you want to see happen.

President still needs the house and the senate and each member there has their own constituents and self motivations to deal with. So it’s not as easy as one may think. You have to vote up and down the ballot everywhere.
