Last week, Harris gave her most detailed outline of her economic policy agenda yet, with a platform that's similar to Biden-omics, with a slightly different focus. So in this video, we'll explain her policies and why they're likely to be quite popular.

Our mission is to explain news and politics in an impartial, efficient, and accessible way, balancing import and interest while fostering independent thought.

Also, whoever did the graphics on this episode clearly had way too much fun.

I think changing the zoning laws in the US is the most important thing. You are not allowed to build anything but massive single family houses with huge lawns.

Giving away 30k to buy houses is a great way to continue increase the prices.

It might be worth mentioning that, during the period that the government was giving the additional child tax credit, child poverty was cut by half!

Saying price controls are difficult to effect in practice is like saying it's difficult to fly without wings. Price controls have NEVER worked. Period.

"Ignore deficits" The American economic plan summed up since the 80s.

She also needs to ban corporate home ownership. Single family homes are for single families, not companies and even with an increase in home building all it will do is give corporations more homes to hoard.

Having a plan is one thing, implementing the plan is another.

US Public: We can't have children because we can't afford it.
JD Vance: Yeah, there's going to be a tax for that.

The comment section on a british commentary of US politics is so much more tame gosh. Love it ❤

FYI, there are no goods that "aren't directly affected by inflation". Everything is affected by inflation

The price gauging plan is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.

How about the government make it illegal for hedgefunds to own residential property. Watch there be a flood of available housing, and the actual price of housing goes through the floor.

Kamala says “strongest economy in history!” And I wonder why I can no longer afford groceries

Vance proposes a child tax credit. Headlines: "Vance wants childless people to pay more tax"
Harris proposes a child tax credit. Headlines: "Harris will make having children more affordable."

A big problem is that most Americans don’t know how inflation and our economic system works. The feds monetary policy since 2012 and especially through Covid has had a huge impact on inflation.

"Higher tax rate on childless people" that's a great way to never see taxes from me again 😂

Stability is a result of our economy's struggles with uncertainty, housing issues, foreclosures, global volatility, and the pandemic's consequences. To restore stability and promote growth, all sectors must respond quickly to concerns about growing inflation, slow growth, and trade disruptions.
