I wonder if there will be UI customization or even just dark mode by the 2030s 😭😭😭

Please implement a tris/quad/ngon exporter like MOI3D many people use Fusion for industrial design and concept design, and need to render the models in Blender, Cinema 4d etc for commercials, showcasing etc. It would greatly speed up the workflow and make it so that people don't need to buy another software just to have usable topology.

Top reasons you should fix to prevent CAM Programmers to switch to another software

- start working on a non cloud based software
-some serious 5 axis roughing capabilities ( for example simultaneous rest roughing) is missing
-no way to use feature macro programming, even drill recognition needs rework (thread forming uses cut taps)
-work on your 3d finishing toolpaths! If you announce to work with moduleworks why isn't the option of tangential surface extension not possible???

-tool orientations can't be saved - make a simple box to choose from previous tool orientations, the derived from ... is annoying when switching from 2, 5D to 3D on the same tool orientation

- make it possible to save and give the option to rename contours, it's nice that the linking option is now available but in every other cam system I know you can save selected contours.

-calculation time for Toolpaths is to long due to the fact that fusion is only using one kernel

Please concentrate on the small everyday things before releasing anything else that only need 2 people out of 100
If you are claiming to be one of the best cam systems out there, do your homework

does this mean I can now add and then use i-mates within Fusion 360?

I am using fusion alot for turning at work. What it really lacks for me is a function to prevent chip jamming at 90 degree walls.. Sandvik recommends shortening each cut by the feedrate, so 0, 3 mm rev. will make each pass shorter by that amount.. I have done it manually and with macros. It works great but is cumbersome and time consuming . You should also look up "optithread" for chipbreaking while threadturning in difficult materials... and maybe add a checkbox for that. 👍

We need drawings which work! Leave the 90s…as you said in the video.

What about fixing the millions of bugs fusion has!? And performance wise, it's pretty bad too!

This is a stupid AD but there is not a single word about the title. Why would I switch ? The things they listed are all parts of Solidworks as well. The only advantage of the Fusion is the free personal use, altgough it's limited.

We NEED better tooling options for turning!

I really wish Autodesk had kept Fusion 360 as a full featured app for the hobbyists. It's an excellent way to get people used to using your products, and inspires a lot of loyalty when people start doing it professionally, to the point they will cough up the cash for the license. I can't justify the cost of the full product as a hobbyist just getting started, so I probably will look for a different product at some point, which is a shame because Fusion 360 was amazing when I first started using it.

I totally get that some consumers probably went with the free version when they were actually professional consumers who should have paid the license, which probably meant shutting down access to a lot of the cool features like simulations and whatnot. But it's left a lot of people with the option of either choosing another product, or flying the jolly roger as it were.

I'm not going to risk my computer by finding a cracked version, and instead I'll probably switch over to something else. Very regrettable, because Autodesk does make high quality products, but the cost is crazy for someone not working with it professionally.

I think there's good money in making people addicted to all the great features for free, and then charging them for using it professionally, and instead having strict licensing audits once in a while, and perhaps fining people who abuse it.

A more honest video would be nice. Make one with 5 reasons NOT to switch. All the pros in this video have major cons connected to them.
