The Most Amazing Bento From 7-Eleven in Japan

This is why convenience stores in Japan are the BEST. I bought this bento from a 7-Eleven for about 600 Yen ($5.00). It comes with ingredients separate from the rice. The staff there will warm it up for you, so all you need to do is eat it.

7-11 is known to be very ghetto on the US. In my part of the country we go with QuickTrip. They changed everything several years ago when they came. They drew in so many customers that other franchises closed down or had to renovate the locations.

If you’re ever on the east coast, come to Wawa! Their made to order hoagies are the best imo and it’s on of the best convince store experience you can get in the states.

I’ve also heard good things about Buc-ees but I’ve never been there myself

I think the reason why Japan food even Korea, as such good food is because of different regulations and culture. People work to 6am to 5pm or even earlier or later plus overworking, it’s easier to just drop by a gas station then to make a whole dang meal for yourself after a long day.

After a while I realized this stuff is more for tourists. Chances are you can find a local shop that sells fresh made and definitely better bento boxes for similar price. You have to actually talk to the people there a bit.

Here in my country they also serve that with local menu but the this is since the meal was separated and the rice was under the viand, the rice serving was cut short.
