@Ronny Dahl your editing was next level, camera work was exceptional. I’ve watched this 3 times already to enjoy the whole process.
Excellent mate! 11/10.

Killed the alternator in the first proper muddy hole I drove through in my new V8 Troopy, about 2 weeks after I got it, so I feel your pain, took it out and got it working again with a WD40 refurb but I have constant anxiety about it now, and changing it again - pig of a job!

Pretty brave tackling the Brunswick and Holland tracks with all the rain we've had down here but at least it makes the beach sand much easier to drive on! 👌
Goodonya for having a crack and showing the conditions of these popular local destinations 👍

Love the bar! And I enjoy how your switching between the grenadier and the 70 series love what you’ve done with both!

Still so jealous we don’t get a ‘proper’ LandCruiser in the States…

I have to admit, all I want to see in action is the Grenadier that's parked at the back

Great video Ronny. Especially with explaining the experiences you’ve had with the different vehicles e.g alternators, auto and manual transmissions for a particular off condition etc. Really good stuff.

Hey Ronny just on the v8 alternator mud thing. We have run a fleet of 2.8 Hilux’s at my work for about 5 years now. Plenty of mud and water driving due to the scope of work. We’ve found the 2.8s reliably have starter motors fail around the 100, 000km mark. Behaves like a low/flat battery. Other than that, they’ve handled the tough love quite well

I personally like the bar. A bit bare, but then it's less weight that a 'full' one. It also looks like it's meant to be there and totally normal.

The Truck looks really good.
(And yes, I'm a Grenadier owner)

We did the Holland Track end of May when we came back from Brisbane.
When we were halfway through, it started to rain. The Track became very slippery and water everywhere. Not a much as you had. We managed to come through with our Kimberley Kamper in tow but needed the winch once. A great trip.

I think it’s the auto that makes the difference rather than the engine.
I recon if Ronny had the choice between a v8 auto v8 manual and 4 cylinder auto and 4 cylinder manual - he’d definitely take the one that would generate the most views and controversy.

Looking good 👌from Steve near Chester England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 where the Roman's once lived.

I've got an Offroad Animal Predator bar on my Suzuki Jimny without the hoops, with the same two front recovery points. I am really happy with mine!
